What makes them unique?

So, what is the difference?

Gymnasts are trained to be intensely competitive, precise, and meticulous athletes as any stumble, wobble, or misstep lowers their score and can be the difference between winning and losing.

For dancers only, acro dance is a type of art. With a concentration on stretching "through" the feats and holding attractive balances with intriguing variations, acro has softer, more lyrical-looking lines.

Gymnasts practice on a spring floor with real springs incorporated into the mats. This allows the gymnast to achieve great height in their routines and provides a forgiving surface on which to perform advanced tumbling passes consistently.

Dancers who do acrobatic manoeuvres on a challenging stage must prepare their bodies to endure the force of the hard floor. Dancers cannot experience a hard floor's rebound action like gymnasts on a spring floor. Dancers must therefore practise using their bodies' natural lift to perform routines that appear effortless and light safely.

Acrobatics and gymnastics are two sports where athletes perform acrobatic stunts and flip at high speeds. They both involve a great deal of skill and athleticism. The only difference between these two sports is that acrobatics requires more training than gymnastics.

Gymnasts spend years learning their craft, whereas acrobats start as kids and continue to train throughout their lives. To become a professional acrobat, you should begin practicing as soon as possible.
